Sally Feng Fader was born and raised in China. After graduating from the prestigious Tianjin Institute of Fine Arts, Sally worked as a fashion designer. In 1999, she came to the U.S. and attended the Fashion Institute of New York. Featuring oil portraits, landscapes and sumi-e watercolors, her art is a unique mix of Eastern and Western styles. She currently lives on Long Island with her family and teaches art classes for children and adults.  Shadows of Nature
 By Adrienne Hawthorne Adrienne Hawthorne, a children’s librarian and UHS alumni, has been a member of the Uniondale community for over 27 years. Her love of all forms of self-expression has led to a wide variety of hobbies including playing the flute, singing in the church choir, knitting, jewelry design and photography. With inspiration from the sea, forest and garden, many of the pieces in this photography exhibit reflect her love of nature for its vivid beauty and color.
 Spring Forward By Dean C. Williams
Dean C. Williams, a native Long Islander and Photographer, focuses on the "diverse landscapes of Long Island." His work has been published in Newsday's Explore Long Island Magazine and was exhibited at the Phoenix Gallery. His artistic goal is to “offer an escape from the routine of everyday, to the beautiful places where one may find refuge.” This exhibit will feature fine art photography preserved on canvas. Natural Influences III

By Bernice r. Sims Bernice r. Sims, a Mineola resident and a graduate of Adelphi University, gains inspiration from meditation, nature and traveling. Her influences include her mother, French impressionists, O’Keeffe, Tarkay and others. Ms. Sims’ art has been exhibited at the NY SOHO, West Side Arts Coalition, and many other galleries. In 2002, her work was featured in NY Gallery magazine. She “works in oil, acrylics, oil pastels and watercolor”. This exhibit features a collection of realistic still life.
