Workshop & CraftsHand Painted Ceramic Mugs
Tuesday, October 22, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Each young adult will have the opportunity to create their own mug using stencils, paint pens and pictures to personalize a mug that they will use over and over again.

Chocolate Mousse Pie
Tuesday, November 19, 7:00 – 8:15 p.m.
This is a “no bake” pie making program. Everyone takes home their own 7 inch pie or 6 chocolate cups. Recipe included!

“Embracing Heritage through Digital
Storytelling” @ the Uniondale Public LibraryOctober 1 - November 21
Grades 6-8: Tuesdays, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Grades 9-12: Thursday, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
NY State Certified Teacher and Turtle Hook School Media Specialist Cara Catalano will teach students how to create a digital story which will explore their family’s heritage. The final project will be an iMovie that will promote a sense of cultural pride.
