Fees: $20.00 for AARP Members.$25.00 for Non-Members.
A separate check or money order is required for each participant, payable to AARP. AARP membership cards are to be presented at registration and the instructor on the day of the class.


Citizenship Classes
(Starting Date) January 14, Wednesdays and Fridays 10:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m.
Join us for a free 11-week Citizenship preparation course which focuses on language and civics skills needed to pass the U.S. Citizenship Exam. It also offers free access to legal counseling.
This program is made possible by Literacy Nassau based on a grant from New York State Office of New Americans.

Basic Spanish

Fridays, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Intermediate Spanish

Saturdays, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
February 21, 28, March 7, 14, 21 & 28

Fee: $5.00 for all sessions.
Registration begins on Thursday, February 5

Our Fall sessions can help you to improve your Spanish in a friendly learning environment.

ESOL

(English for Speakers of Other Languages)
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m.
Registration dates: September 22 and 23
(Testing begins promptly at 10:00 a.m.)

The class helps non-English speakers to improve their English with speaking, listening, reading and writing at all levels.
Registration Fees:
$55 for ESOL classes.
(Material fees & textbooks not included.)

Classes are held for Adults 21 years and older.

Money order ONLY payable to NASSAU BOCES.

All students must be officially enrolled after meeting the class requirements. Payments will be made after evaluation process is completed. Photo ID required at registration.

These classes are presented by Nassau BOCES.

Tai Chi

Wednesdays, 11:00am-12:00 p.m. October 15, 22, 29, November 12, 19 December 3, 10 & 17
Master Marvin German, a certified Tai Chi instructor, welcomes you to join his class to improve back strength, fall prevention and balance.
